Part 5; Someone’s at the Door

The doorbell rang as Ethan was winding down watching a late night show. Not wanting to wake up the majority of the household He answered it. It was Bebe. He wanted to tell her where to shove it. He wanted to yell at her.

Then he saw her face; tears ran freely down and mascara streaked down her cheeks. He wanted to hold her, demand who had upset her and just plain protect her.

She started sobbing and begged him to forgive her as he ushered her inside.

"What happened?" Of course he forgave her. How could he not? He'd do almost anything to see her smile.

She let out a shaky breath. "My father showed up as you were ordering the food. He was crazy rambling about blowing fish out of the tank inside and then I got him calmed down enough to get us outside and he asked why I was there. I told him I was meeting you and he went crazy. He started threatening and scaring me. I ran off. I don't care what happens to him anymore. I can't go back home. Can I stay here tonight?"

He hugged her and wished he could fix everything that was wrong with her family. "I need to ask dad, but I'm sure it'll be okay. You can take my bed and I'll sleep on the couch if he agrees."

Jack was outside playing on the kids slip and slide when Ethan went to find him.

"Cool by me," Jack said and gave Ethan a hug goodnight before heading in the house himself.

Ethan followed his dad back in the house "My room's at the very top. I'll find you something to wear unless you mind."

"Oh no no, I could really use a shower though. Please?" He laughed. Like he'd say no?
"Sure let me find you something to wear and then you can take a shower in my bathroom. I have my own." Ethan had never had a girl in his room, well outside of family. He found an old tee shirt that Nikki had given him as a joke a few years ago and some old sweats. Handing them to Bebe he pointed to the door next to the stairs. "Everything you need is in there. I'll head downstairs as soon as I change."

~*~
Bebe hugged him, thankful that he was there for her. "Could you stay with me until I fall asleep? I don't want to be alone right now."

"Sure, I'll be here when you get out."
After changing he lay down and rested, his mind continued to wander towards the girl in the bathroom and how…
The sound of one of the newborns crying was better then a dip in ice water. He wasn't ready for his own yet. Not to mention three.
But it didn't stop him from thinking of Bebe completely. She took a good half hour in the bathroom and he was beginning to wonder if she was okay when she finally emerged.
She had thrown her hair into a loose bun and removed her make up but he still thought she was the prettiest girl he's ever seen. She walked slowly and hesitantly towards the bed. "If you want me to leave I will. I don't want to make you uncomfortable."

She gave a nervous laugh "No, please, it's just that I've never… Well I've never been in a bed with a boy."

"Me neither, but I promise to behave. I'll stay until you fall asleep." She climbed in bed next to him.
"Thank you again for letting me crash here. I promise it won't become a habit. It's just that my dad… I can't believe what he said. What he implied."

"You're welcomed here anytime." Ethan said pulling her into a hug and kissing her. "I enjoy your company."
They cuddled there until she fell asleep in his arms. He watched her sleep for a bit, she was so peaceful. He needed to head downstairs, but couldn't pull away from her side. The more he was around her the more he wanted to be around her.
Soon he passed out wondering about their future. He still hadn't asked her to the spring formal.
A few hours later he woke only enough to climb under the covers making sure to stay on his side of the bed. In his sleep he murmured, "I think I love you."

Part 4: Scared

Not two minutes after Ethan disappeared into the restaurant Gus showed up. "Bebecakes, how's my little princess doing? I've been looking everywhere for you? I finally gave up and decided to go fishing."
"But daddy, this is a restaurant. You can't fish here."

"Of course I can I got this little gismo that when thrown in the water fish pop up." He revealed a small explosive to her.

"Daddy, no. You can't do that here. Why don't we eat something inside? Near the back? You can watch the fish from there, and then we'll go to the park and fish okay?"
"But Bebecakes…"

"Come on daddy," She called him inside and snuck him to the back hoping that he wouldn't see Ethan. He had impeccable timing that was for sure.
She managed to calm him down and order food for the both of them. She caught a peak of Ethan walking out and felt sick knowing she couldn't leave her father's side when he was like this. So she sat and made small talk with her father until she was sure Ethan had left. Then they went outside where her father seemed to remember his role of parent.
"Bebe, what were you doing here?" Great now he wanted to be the father, in front of the paparazzi and several neighbors. The Bistro was a hot spot for the more wealthy Sims.

"I was going to have dinner with someone, but then you showed up." She tried to be as honest as she could.

"Who?"

"Ethan Lock."
"A boy? No, my daughter is not seeing a boy. You are forbidden to see him. Or it's boarding school for you young lady."
"Daddy, calm down, it was just a date."
"You're sleeping with him aren't you? You're sleeping with all the boys I bet. And their fathers. You're a tramp just like your mother."

"No daddy. I'm not."

"I should teach you what happens to tramps like you." He grabbed her arm but Bebe struggled.
"Daddy get off me you're scaring me." She jerked free and ran from him. Her father could do what he liked tonight in town, but there was no way she was going back home.

She ran and ran, unsure of where her legs were taking her until she was in front of Ethan's place.
Taking a deep sigh and drying her eyes she rang the doorbell and hoped he'd forgive her.

Part 3; The Date

Ethan was late. He chastised himself for not leaving earlier. He should have been here five minutes ago. He wanted to go to the market and buy Bebe some flowers and surprise her at the bookstore. But now he was just going to barely make it to the restaurant before her if he was lucky.

She had just walked across the patio smiling at him. He'd never get over her beauty, no matter how many times she changed her hair or dressed in the most colorful outfit she always glowed to him.
"Hi," They said almost in unison.
"I'm sorry I'm late," he continued. "I hoped to meet you at the store. You look beautiful tonight. How was work?"
"It was fine. But then mom showed up freaking out about daddy acting up and you know if mommy is worried on daddy's behavior it must be really bad. I just want to ignore it for tonight and spend a couple hours with you."
"Whatever you want Bebe. I'm always willing to listen rather it's about your mom or your dad. Anything. By the way Mike told me he has some great seats for us tomorrow night and wanted to know if you'd join us. He's inviting Holly as well."
"Sure, anything to get away from the parents. Who's playing tomorrow anyways?"

"The Frames."
"Not bad. I'm starved I haven't eaten since breakfast mind if we eat?"

"No problem. It's such a nice night out here though. Want to eat out here?"
"Sounds cool. I'll grab us a table while you order the food. I'll have what you're having."
"Okay, I'll be back in a bit." He said before heading inside. He stayed by the bar while they cooked his food watching the game on TV. The place was packed enough he couldn't see the door from his seat but the cooks were the best in town and could handle a crowed this big with ease. Ten minutes later he had their food and was heading back outside.

Bebe was gone. She was nowhere to be seen. Maybe she went to the restroom. He sat down at an empty table and waited on her, but when she didn't return five minutes later he decided to eat his cheese steak before it got cold.

He finished it and she was still gone. Hurt he dug into hers, no use wasting a months of his allowance. He sat there for a while longer, but knew he needed to get home. How could Bebe just up and leave him there with no warning, no explanation. What had happened? Was she okay? Did she run off on him? Was this her way of breaking up with him?
He let out a long sigh knowing whatever just happened wasn't going to get answered until he saw Bebe again. It was a good thing he didn't ask her to formal though. She'd probably had just laugh at him before running off. But this was so unlike her. Confused and hurt Ethan drove home.

Part 2; Baby Boom

It was a peaceful Wednesday morning. Jack & Judy were having one of those rare days which both of them were home and relaxing. She insisted that they'd brush up on their baby raising and had gone out and bought all the newest baby books.
She'd been force to go on maternity leave a couple months back. Her doctors told her that due to her age there may be some health risks. But she couldn't bear to be bed ridden. Upon one of the visits she was told she was having twins and they were boys. Twin boys? It saddened her to know she'd never get the little princess she always dreamed of. Even though she had two lovely daughters she'd always dreamed of one who'd be her little princess. Nikki was too wild and Ava, well Ave preferred to be outside alongside Aden. Judy had hoped she'd get a little girl who'd want nothing more than to play with dolls and dress up.

Today was going to be one of the few days Judy and Jack would have some peace and quiet for a few years. They spent some time adoring each other and talking about their future children.
Jack even spent some quality time making sure Judy wasn't too sore. Despite the doctors warnings she continued to work out daily. He tried to tell her he loved her no matter how she looked. But she seemed determined to get in shape. So he did his best to comfort her.

It seemed to work and Judy begged Jack to read the latest baby book she bought while she did her morning workout. He tried to tell her to take it an easy but she said she'd be fine. The babies were fighting and moving around. They were probably just as restless as she felt. They always calmed down after she did her exercises.

She had hoped to add an extension to the house, but Jack said they couldn't afford it. Back in Twinbrooks the twins had slept in the room with Judy and Jack. Nikki and Ethan had shared the small second room. So this would be no different.
She did manage to use her nesting time to redecorate the kitchen, the twins' room and Nikki's room. Judy had a doctor's appointment at noon but insisted to Jack that she wanted him to stay home and set up the two cribs in their bedroom.

As she walked up to the hospital she felt that all too familiar feeling of her water breaking. Right in front of half of the town who promptly started freaking out. It was as if none of them have seen a woman in labor. And Judy was the calmest one there. She called Jack and told him to rush over.

Jack rushed in the hospital. "Where's my wife? She's in labor."

Minutes later he was in the room as Doc Wolff announced the new squealing baby was a girl.

"But…" Judy gasps as another contraction hit her. "You said twin boys."

Hours later Jack and Judy were filling out the forums to release her and their three babies. Somehow Lilly, the smallest of the three was hiding behind Ella the whole time and when Judy had been checked her hand had been mistaken for a boy. They were in shock, and now needed to rush to the nearest store to buy a new crib as they only had two at home. Jack sent Judy home with the triplets to rest while he went crib shopping. One of the babies to sleep in the bed until he got back.
